3 Mid Century Modern Clocks I Made With My Glowforge

I made a mid century modern styled clock as a birthday gift for my sister! Engraved flora on its front and inlaid white wood veneers into the walnut create a simple, powerful look. I loved making the clock so much, I made two other designs! All 3 could fit in the same décor and yet each has a unique look.

I used my Glowforge extensively to cut out and engrave all of the pieces for these designs. A big thank you to Mark Kistler for being an inspiration for the design of the third of my clocks. His drawing style has given me a fascination with geometric structures and patterns ever since he taught me how to doodle in kindergarten! You can find his youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MarkKistler

The 2nd and 3rd clocks in the video are available for sale on my etsy page if you are interested in snagging one of these pieces! https://www.etsy.com/shop/EngineeredRelics

Plant images used for engraving onto the gifted clock came from “clipart.me”.
