Desk Organization Redesign Package
The digital files for my epic desk redesign can now be yours! Laser cut and 3D print the pieces in your own home, assemble them together, and then bask in the clever organization of your desk! This package contains all of the files for the tool holder, monitor stand, laptop stand, cable management system, and light stand.
This download includes the following:
SVG cut files for the tool holder, monitor stand, and laptop stand - 14 total files.
-These cut files are formatted and packaged for the cutting area of the Glowforge Basic. If your laser cutter has a larger build area you could benefit by repackaging the designs.
-Any parts that need duplication are already duplicated in the cut files, so if you cut out everything that is in the files, then you are ready to build.
STL files for both cable management pieces and the light stand mount - 3 total files.
-Note that my desk has a 45 degree chamfer on the edge which not all desks will have so these designs may not work with all desks.
STEP files for each of the designs - 6 total files.
-These are provided in case you want to make changes to the designs. Remember I made these for my specific use case, yours may be slightly different.

These parts were laser cut using FULL power, 200 speed, and 1 pass. The etching was done at 50 power, 1000 speed, 1 pass, and 75 lines/inch. For the 3D printed parts, a 0.4mm nozzle with black PLA was used on a Creality CR-6 SE printer. Using your own laser cutter, printer, material, nozzle size, and parameters could result in slightly different prints/cuts so I recommend a couple tests with the files to check fits.
You will need a 3D printer, some filament, laser cutter, super glue or other adhesive, and some nuts/bolts for the light stand. Of course you can take your pick of the designs and might need fewer tools.
